I had a long (36+ years) and successful career in tech including tenures at Google, Microsoft, and Pandora.
For the last 10 years of my tech career, I focused on leadership development in tech and built several high-performing teams.
I co-founded two self-funded and successful start-ups in Silicon Valley.
I interviewed hundreds of SWE/SRE/SA/RE/QA/PM candidates during my nearly 11-year tenure at Google, 5 years at Microsoft, and senior leadership role at Pandora.
I sat on hiring committees and hired dozens of engineers and engineering managers.
I sat on promotion committees at Google and know what it takes to advance one's career at this company.
I am currently an ACC accredited ICF coach, and am actively pursuing the PCC credential (expected in mid-2022).

Tech Interview Preparation:
I specialize in behavioral mock interviews that include actionable feedback, which is especially important for senior IC and manager roles.
I can perform system design mock interviews, especially for senior-level roles at Google and Facebook. The feedback I can provide will help you best prepare for this critical conversation.
A standard 60-minute behavioral or system design mock includes a 45-minute practice interview followed by 15 minutes of feedback. If you want more detailed feedback, have questions, and/or are seeking advice/tips on how to best prepare, please select a 90-minute session.
If you have questions about the interview process at Google or Facebook with tips on how to best prepare, I can spend 30 minutes with you answering your questions. This would not be a mock interview with feedback (please select an hour or 90-minute slot for that).
Resume Review:
I can review your resume or C.V. from the viewpoint of an engineering hiring manager looking to fill open roles.
I will provide you actionable feedback on how to make your resume more impactful and likely that a hiring manager would approve an initial screening interview.
The feedback will also include suggestions and tips for what you can expect from an interview panel, some of whom may conduct a deep dive on one or more areas or skill sets listed.
You will need to schedule two 30-minute sessions with me a minimum of 48 hours apart. The first session is for me to review and prepare the feedback, and the second is to deliver the feedback to you. We will meet only for the latter 30-minute session.
