I'm an experienced interviewer, and was a high performer at Amazon EU in Retail roles. I worked across Vendor, Product and Program Management at Amazon. I started as an L4 after graduating university, and progressed through Amazon, ending working for a Director on a special internal project with a heavy focus on coaching our existing employees into new skills and roles.
I have experience in working closely with people up to VP level, but my coaching ability is best focused on L4 to L6 roles, as I both have the expertise from having done the role, rather than simply recruited for it.
My specialism is on non-technical roles, but have also completed a number of behavioural interviews for TPM/SDE where having minimal technical knowledge can help sharpen the answers given to a more technical interviewer. I spent 7 years in total at Amazon and passed the internal and external interview loops 5 times myself, so I know how stressful preparation for these jobs can be.
From me, you can expect a wholly honest appraisal of your answers, and suggestions on how to improve them to make sure that you have the best chance of passing the behavioural interview loops. I am a copious note taker and will share both notes and impressions after the interview.
We can think together about how best we approach the mock interview to make the best use of your time, but I would propose that we focus on leadership principle style questions. If we focus on the LPs you feel more strongly or more weekly about is totally up to you! I would suggest focusing on development areas so that you can go into the behavioural interview knowing that you have all the bases covered.
