I believe that people who feel appreciated will always do more than what is expected. I also believe that privileges should be leveraged for power to make the world a more equitable and racially just environment for everyone.
Fellow multi-passionate entrepreneur and renowned author Maya Angelou said it best - "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive, and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style."
I believe managers should be able to do more than just survive at work; they should be able to thrive.
I help managers to reimagine current processes to better complement each other, become more intuitive and straightforward, and engage employees who enjoy their job, feel valued, and want to come to work. The best way to do this is to make work fun and game-like by adapting and incorporating contemporary neuroscience and motivational psychology research. I bring a systemic and interpersonal approach to addressing numerous process/project/system challenges and managing the people-side of change management and work.
As a coach, I also help develop the talent of students, professionals, and organizational leaders, as they strive to find environments that allow them to work at their natural best. Clients typically choose to work with me if they want help navigating a new role at work, identifying and connecting transferable skills and experiences between industries, communicating feelings of dissatisfaction or burnout with their superiors.
When I’m not on the job, I love playing board games of all kinds, swing or salsa dancing on the weekends, and indulging my love for traveling, bicycling, and exploring new places.
