I am a Carrus coach, based in Tokyo. I am also an entrepreneur, angel investor, and co-founder of a few venture projects based out of Tokyo.

I've been involved in a number of corporates, startups, and I successfully raised approx. 700,000 USD in seed funding for a luxury car-sharing platform in 2019.

In terms of job interview preparation, I've been an agency recruiter for Amazon for 10+ years and supported candidates with landing jobs across multiple functions including executive level, engineering, product, sales, marketing and operations.

Family originally from Burma, born in the U.K. and grew up in Essex before graduating from Leeds Uni after spending 1 year study abroad in Australia. At the age of 22 moved to Japan, living in the countryside (Tottori) for 2 years on a government teaching and culture exchange program.

Since then spent over 14 years in the recruitment sector. First for 5 years in the temp staffing division of a global recruitment firm, working in mainly the finance sector and supporting engineers to find new projects.

Spent almost 6 years working in the tech startup sector and helped to build one of the leading agencies in this niche, with experience in building businesses in both Tokyo and San Francisco. Also spent 8 months working on a job board specific to startups.
